1. Data controller
The data controller is Franko Žanetić, Attorney at Law, based in Blato, 20271 Blato, island of Korčula (hereinafter: the "Office"). For all questions regarding the processing of personal data, you can contact us at info@zanetic-odvjetnik.hr .
2. What data do we collect?
- data that you provide to us via the contact form or e-mail (name and surname, e-mail address, telephone, content of the inquiry);
- data necessary for the provision of legal services and the fulfillment of the Office's legal obligations (data on the client and the case);
- basic technical data about the visit to the site (this site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools).
3. Purposes and legal basis for processing
- response to your inquiry and communication before entering into a contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, point (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation);
- provision of legal services and representation (Art. 6, para. 1, items (b) and (c));
- fulfillment of legal obligations arising from the Law on the Legal Profession and other regulations (Art. 6, paragraph 1, point (c));
- legitimate interests of the Office, such as protection against legal claims (Art. 6, para. 1, item (f)).
4. Attorney-client privilege
Regardless of the rules on the protection of personal data, everything a client entrusts to a lawyer is protected by professional secrecy in accordance with the Law on the Bar and the Code of Ethics for Lawyers. The obligation to maintain secrecy is not limited in time.
5. Data recipients
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only disclosed when necessary for the conduct of the case (courts, notaries, administrative bodies, experts) or when required by law.
6. Storage periods
We retain data from inquiries that do not result in cooperation for a maximum of one year. Case files are retained within the time limits prescribed by the Law on the Bar and the rules on archiving attorney files.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and restrict the processing of your data, the right to portability and the right to object — to the extent that these rights can be exercised without violating legal confidentiality. Submit your request to info@zanetic-odvjetnik.hr .
If you believe that your data is being processed contrary to regulations, you have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

We update these policies from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page.
